Tuuri Nat 7.6.2008
We spent a nice sunny summer day in Tuuri
all-breed show. Viona won BOB with great critics
under Mr Kari Salminen, Finland. As Heini had to stay at
work, Hilla handled "Juice" (Int Ch Neliapilan
Uutisaihe), who was awarded as the best male.

Helsinki Int, Aptus Show 25.5.2008
Afghans competed under Mr Laurent Pichard.
This time, Viona was shown by her breeder Arja and they
ended up BB-4. Later, Mr Bo Skalin chose Neliapilan
breeder's group to the BIS-1 place! Not very bad was other
afghans' success in the finals either: BIS-junior,
BIS-veteran & the whole BIS competition were all taken by
our own breed!

Joensuu Nat & Joensuu Int
17.-18.5.2008
Two days, two all-breed shows, freezing
weather with gale-force wind, rain and even some snow on
Sunday. Afghans were judged by Mrs. Säde Hohteri (Sat) and
Mrs Annukka Paloheimo (Sun). Viona was placed best bitch 2d
on both days and Lucia, who by the way seemed to be one of
the few that really didn't care about the terrible weather,
won BB-4 and her third CAC on Sunday.

Lahti Int 27.4.2008
Viona took part in the Lahti
International spring show where afghans competed under the
judging of Mr Svante Frisk from Sweden. Today's result was
exc/4.
Much more greater news did we get the day before as Pihla's
son "Peku" (Neliapilan Syntipukki) won BOB, CAC & CACIB at
Vaasa Int show under Mrs. Angela Draper-Andrews, who totally
fell in love with this super handsome boy. And we think this
is going to be just a start... Thank you Janika, you've been
taking such a very good care of our little "Neppari".
In Lahti, we also celebrated Viona
& Juice,
the Show Afghans of the year 2007,
with this delicious cake.

Harstad Int, Norway 20.4.2008
Heini, Hilla, Viona & Lucia travelled to
the Northern Norway by bus. Mr Matti Tuominen from Finland
was going to judge the nine afghans attended: seven of
them from Finland and two of them from Sweden! :-)
Lucia won the intermediate class with CK,
and Viona won the champion class, also with CK. Viona ended
up to Best Bitch and also got CAC & Cacib, which was exactly
what she needed: Viona is now
Norwegian and Nordic Champion! Lucia did nicely too,
as she was placed 3rd best bitch.

At the same time in Finland, it was an
international dog show held in Jyväskylä. Pihla's son Peku
(Neliapilan Syntipukki) was 2nd best male from intermediate class and got CAC and his first CACIB! Well
done!! :-)

Afghans were judged by Marija Kavcic from
Slovenia. Viona was the best bitch out of 20
attended. Finally Viona was BOS as her brother Int Ch
Neliapilan Pikku-Hukka was BOB and also Best in Group at the
end of the day! Neliapilan breeder group was BIS-1 under Mr.
Ralf Campbell from Norway.

Champion of Champions & Veteran of Veterans -gala 9.2.2008
Viona's beutiful mom Suzi (Int Ch
Neliapilan Yksinäinen Suzi) was crowned as the Veteran of
Veterans winner 2008 by mr Carl Gunnar Stafberg, Sweden at the
annual CoC & VoV gala held in Vantaa. Hilla and Heini were
so pleased to attend this great gala and witness this
memorable evening. Thank you all!

Turku Int 27.1.2008
Afghans were judged by mr Petru Muntean,
Romania. Viona got excellent and was placed 4th in champion
bitches. Juice (Int Ch Neliapilan Uutisaihe), handled by
Heini, won the champion males' class and was finally placed
best male 2nd with Cacib. Neliapilan breeder group has been
quite unbeatable also in this year's breeder group
competitions so far by achieving three BIS-1 placements out
of four shows. At Turku Int show the BIS-1 placement was
given by mr Dusan Paunovic, Serbia.

Kajaani Int 6.1.2008
The show year 2008 started once again at a home-town show.
Afghans were judged on a beautiful and freezing winter day
by a Finnish sight-hound specialist mrs Saija Juutilainen.
Pihla's son Peku (Neliapilan Syntipukki) got res-CAC and won
the intermediate class with Excellent, his brother Sepe
(N. Sudenhetki) being second in the class with Exc also.
Heini handled Juice (Int Ch Neliapilan Uutisaihe) to the 2nd
best male. Viona won the best bitch competition, Cacib and
was finally BOS, this time handled by Heini. Kennel
Neliapilan started the year by the best possible way: a
Belgian judge mrs Liliane de Ridder-Onghena chose afghans to the
BIS-1 place in breeder groups!
